  • WHO: Teams of two. M/M, F/F, or M/F

  • WHAT: A HYROX-style hybrid race featuring functional fitness stations + 800m runs

  • WHY: To challenge your grit, build community, and test your race-day power — all in a fun, high-energy environment

  • Each team (M/M, F/F, or M/F) completes 8 functional fitness stations, each separated by an 800m run. One partner works at a time — teamwork is everything.

Starting June 1st, we’re adding a brand-new class to the schedule:

Hybrid Prep

— your dedicated training ground for the Mecka Hybrid Race.

Held every Sunday at 10:15am at both locations, this class is designed to build your endurance, power, and confidence through HYROX-style workouts. You’ll practice event movements, learn pacing strategies, and develop partner communication — all while pushing yourself alongside the community.

Current Mecka & CrossFit members get exclusive first access from July 6–July 12.

Non-Member Pre-Registration Access:

Not a member but eager to race? Join the pre-registration list to get 24-hour early access on July 13, before spots open to the public. Sign up for the pre-reg list.

Public Registration Opens:The race opens to everyone on July 14 — first come, first served until all heat spots are filled!

How do teams work?

This is a two-person team event. Choose your teammate and register together under one form.

Divisions are:

Male/Male

Female/Female

Mixed (M/F)

Both teammates must sign a waiver and compete on race day.

What kind of workouts are in the race?

This is a HYROX-style hybrid fitness race. Teams will complete eight functional fitness stations (SkiErg, sled push/pull, row, wall balls, etc.), each separated by an 800m run. Check the full race format above.

How can I train for the event?

Join our Hybrid Prep class! It starts Sunday, June 1 at 10:15am at both Mecka locations. You’ll build race-specific skills, practice strategy, and condition with others who are prepping for race day. Open to all Mecka & CrossFit members.

Is there a minimum fitness level to participate?

We recommend you have some experience with high-intensity fitness, running, and functional movements. That said, our event is open to all levels — you’ll go hard, but you’ll be supported.
